History of Isola Pescatori

 

The "Isola dei Pescatori", also known as Superior Island, is the only of the three islands in the Borromeo Gulf of Lake Maggiore town of Stresa, Verbania (Italy) to be permanently inhabited. 100 meters wide by 350 long, it houses a small town, on the characteristics fishermen's houses railing several floors with balconies where a long time now far used for drying fish caught with nets.
